Fino a qualche anno fa tramite il plugin rewire, era possibile far girare in sync entrambe le piattaforme, ora la funzione è stata sostituita dal plugin reason rack che permette di utilizzare tutti i moduli sonori e gli effetti di reason all'interno di protools ma, unica pecca a mio avviso, non è utilizzabile la edit window di reason come si poteva fare con le versioni fino alla 7.We are Reason Studios. Utilizzo spesso Reason in accoppiata con Protools per realizzare basi o utilizzare i moduli sonori come estensione dei virtual instruments. La gestione del mixer audio è profondamente migliorata permettendo un controllo più dettagliato del suono e della miscelazione, senza restare "indietro" rispetto ad altri software in commercio. Negli anni reason si è evoluto integrando moduli sonori ed effetti piuttosto completi interessanti le funzioni di arpeggio e sviluppo cromatico per piano e synth. Ottimo per la musica elettronica ed il sound design, ma si spazia facilmente tra i generi musicali sia con la gestione di samples che componendo parti e suoni originali tramite gli appositi moduli. audio interface (Windows)ĭa molti anni utilizzo Reason per comporre musiche e sonorizzazioni di vario genere.
